Jerry Hofmann

Jerry is in charge of all things Creative at 24 Seven CSR.   During his 41-year professional show business career, Jerry has become an award winning theatrical actor, TV and film editor, writer, director and producer. He started his pro career as a theatrical producer, director and actor producing, writing, directing, and staring in sold out performances over a period of 7 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He founded his first television and film production company in Los Angeles in 1978. During the following 15 years, he produced hundreds of TV Commercials, industrial films, as well as broadcast television shows.

His projects range from product manufacturers’ videos and TV commercials to development of feature films and TV shows.  Jerry has produced in excess of 800 projects. He is a beta tester for Apple, and various other NLE and media software and hardware companies.

As an internationally recognized expert in film and video production, he has been a Creative COW leader since it’s inception. He has posted over 35,000 answers to questions regarding NLE systems in the COW and in Apple Discussions where he is a level 5 poster (the highest level attainable).

For the past 11 years he has been teaching part-time at The Colorado Film School, a joint facility shared by the Community College of Aurora and Regis University in the art and craft of production and post production in a laboratory with 21 Final Cut Pro bays. There he has been teaching advanced postproduction classes supervising literally hundreds of narrative films and documentaries. He is also a Certified Trainer in Apple’s Pro Applications, and teaches certification classes at the Colorado Film School.

He received his BA in Theater and a BA in Mass Communications (emphasis on TV and Film Production) from the University of Denver.

Paul Case

Paul is responsible for business matters at 24 Seven CSR.   He is an internationally recognized expert in back office software systems for the pay television, wireline, cellular, and media industries. Before becoming a serial entrepreneur, he has acted as the CIO or CTO of six US and international companies ranging in size from raw start-up to multi-billion dollar international telecom operators during his corporate and consulting careers.

Today, he owns and runs Spectralliance, where he has helped clients in 30+ countries in investing, designing, evaluating, and implementing BSS & OSS products; running their internal IT organizations on an outsourced basis; and/or serving on various Board of Directors. His articles on Customer Care and Billing issues have appeared in Billing World, Multichannel News, and Cable Television Business.

He previously held the numerous titles including President of Caspen Consulting, VP/IS of United International Holdings, VP/Information Services for both United Artists Entertainment and United Cable Television.  Paul started and ran an interactive television channel for 5 years where he developed a passion for direct interaction with pay television subscribers in a gaming format.   24 Seven CSR is an outgrowth of that experience.  Paul believes speaking directly to customers and motivating them to learn and act is an art form.

Active in various industry associations, Mr. Case helped found both the CableData User’s Group and the Colorado Open Systems Consortium, Colorado’s largest IT organization. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, holds both CDP and CCP certifications from the Institute of Certified Computer Professionals, and is an active member of the Institute for the Certification of Computer Professionals, Denver Telecom Professionals and the Society of Telecommunication Consultants.

Boyd Bell

Boyd is responsible for analytics at 24 Seven CSR.   He is a recognized expert in operations management focusing on project management, process management, and performance management using rigorous data analysis. He has held leadership roles in previous companies focusing on operations management, IT operations, and business planning.

Today, he owns and runs Useful Rocket Science, where he has helped clients in a wide range of industries including energy management, financial services, talent management, public education, and telecommunications in matters of business planning, strategy, project management, operations management, and performance management.  He has written articles on MSO operations management using statistical methods that have appeared in Outside Plant Management.

He previously held numerous titles including Senior Director of IT Operations and IP & Data Services at Level 3 Communications, VP of Performance Optimization at Worldbridge Broadband Services, Director of Advanced Network Services at TCI, Inc (aka AT&T Broadband), and various management positions at U S WEST Communications, Inc (now known as Qwest Communications).  Boyd is passionate about using facts and data to focus business activity and decision-making that drive businesses to increased profitability.

He received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, a Master of Technology Management from the University of Denver, and a MBA from the University of Colorado.  In addition, he holds a Masters Certificate in Project Based Management from the University of Denver and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing with Project Management Institute (PMI).
